A girl, aged 3, accidentally killed herself in Tennessee on Sunday night after mistaking a .380 caliber semi automatic handgun for a Wii Controller. Reports claim that she had been playing a game with a controller that looked very similar to the handgun.
The girl was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead that same night, after fatally shooting herself in the abdomen. The girl's step-father is said to have left the gun on the living room table, but no charges are being filed. He claims it was left on the table after he had heard a possible intruder and gotten the gun out earlier that evening.
A pretty shocking case, but it sounds like some irresponsible parenting to me, sad it had to happen to someone so young.

It's the parents fault, they should charge them, who is stupid enough to leave a loaded gun on the table with a 3 year old daughter. STUPID FAMILY!!!! I don't care what happens, put it somewhere where a three year old cant reach.
