(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Yesterday an image surfaced and made its way around the web of what could
be a leaked screenshot of Treyarch's upcoming and unnamed title.

You must login or register to view this content.

The past few days, rumors have been emerging left and right about Black Ops 2 and its possible reveal date.
Now the image you see above might just be a glimpse of BO2's multiplayer. From looking at this it appears real,
but I advise to take it with a grain of salt as it is still very early and the game hasn't even been officially revealed/announced yet.

We can probably infer that they'll be bringing back some previous weapons in the Call of Duty series as we see
the MP7 from Modern Warfare 3 being held by the player. Two other interesting tidbits I've noticed is that the
kill notification closely resembles that of Battlefield and appears on the lower portion of the screen. Minimap detail looks
slightly different as well. Fans of the RC-XD can rejoice because if you look closely you can see its icon in the top of the
circle located in the bottom right hand part of the screen. Not to mention what could possibly be a new weapon in the form
of the "Assault Shield". This could be Treyarch's rendition of the riot shield from previous games.

There is much more to be inferred here, but I don't want to get into too much detail or analysis as images like this are
susceptible to fraudulence. Especially this early on.

You guys be the judge: Real or fake?

The Killfeed seems rather high when compared to previous CoD titles. I can really tell how legitimate this is due to the fact that the player is facing debris and we don't get a clear shot of the map. I want to believe it is legit, but I think it's too early to call. Great story Chaz. Keep up the great articles Smile

Yeah I agree, it looks legitimate as hell, or someone has some serious photo editing skills Happy

Either way, I don't like to believe things until I can confirm they're real Winky Winky

Assault Shield? There might be more than 1 riot shield I guess. I can't really tell if its fake or not, but the flags on the minimap don't look right to me, idk if they ever changed them from the past Gaspkay:

This may be fake after all. The icon on the bottom left corner and the killfeed along with the map are usually lined up because of the settings. They are not aligned how it should be. What is the timer at the top left , next to the map?

Well let wait until the 2nd of the next month when they announce or release a trailer about the next CoD. I know it going to be that day because it have been confirmed by charlieINTEL and he also take more photos for proof on one local GamStop. Smile

Looks like a cross between Black Ops and MW3, but more MW3. Won't even think about buying it.

That doesn't look very encouraging. I'm positive that this will be something really along the lines of Black Ops and the graphics base on that image is very unusual. I might just get AC3 instead, if the upcoming BO2 trailer doesn't look good.
