As it has been presented, Black Ops II (Ran by Treyarch, this time around) will feature a somewhat advanced warfare. IW does not like this, as it is a breach in contract. According to this contract, Treyarch should not be even using modern weapons. So now IW is suing Activision. What does the future hold for the new Black Ops? Will we have a new Call Of Duty this year? Some details are yet to be released, but by the looks of it Black Ops is in hot water.
Clause "Activision will retain authority and responsibility over all titles within the 'Call of Duty' franchise (specifically excluding any 'Call of Duty' title set in modern day (post Vietnam). the near future or distant future, which shall be under the authority of IW consistent with and subject toSections 2(a) and (b)). including all creative, development and publishing decisions; provided that IW will be entitled to receive a residual IP bonus and a technology bonus from products published under the 'Call of Duty' brand as outlined inSection 3(d)."
i never liked the idea of blackops 2 having futuristic warfare anyway, they should stick with wars from the past.. thats why i liked treyarch because i liked the old based games not this
Infinity Ward is pissed because they were planning a future like call of duty after the release of MW3. Treyarch is the past, Infinity Ward is the future. hint.. "Modern Warfare"
Yep, plus I liked the aspect of older styles with zombies, I don't think I will like the newer version.

Yes, but I think a dramatic change like this will actually make Call Of Duty a little more better.. I mean come on, Call Of Duty has been the same shit on a different disc, with different maps.
