(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok guys im pretty sure its official geohot will probably be coming back here is why i think that According to BusinessInsider, George Hotz (more commonly known throughout the Jailbreak community as Geohot) no longer works for Facebook – a job he reportedly maintained from June of 2011 until January of this year. Geohot is best known for the creation of two major Jailbreak utilities, Blackra1n and Limera1n (surprisingly the main Limera1n exploit is still used today in Redsn0w to Jailbreak older iDevices) – he also gained legal notoriety and world-wide fame when Sony went after him for “Jailbreaking” their PlayStation 3.

So the big question is, what is Geohot doing now? He was spotted developing a Facebook mapping app at a “hackathon” put on by Backplane, a startup funded by Lady Gaga.



So if Geohot has returned the hacking scene, what does this mean for the future of Jailbreaking? Hopefully Geohot will reclaim his position in the spotlight and start hacking PS3"s once again. Stay tuned for more news and information related to George Hotz.

He won't be coming back. Sony will just !@$#%^&%$^&^% him if he tries and he can't own a ps3 legally i think so yeah end of convo lol

This has been posted before. Also, if he were to come back, Sony would be on his ass. The only way he could come back would be if some thing got passed to let people us their PS3s as they want to. Closed.
