Everything is included EXCEPT the User's Guide and the Xbox Controller Talkback Cable.

The DSS Thing pretty much amplifies the sound making the surround sound a whole lot better, gives an extra volume control, and includes a bass booster. When I first bought the package I tried the Turtle Beaches without the DSS thing and then with it, I could definitely tell a different in the sound quality.
