This is great... I have been wondering about why Whites are racists, and no other race is......

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc. And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'... and that's OK..

But when I call you, ******, Kike, Towel head, Sand-******, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you... so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.

You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day.

You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.

You have the NAACP. You have BET.... If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that??

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists.

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US .. Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college.

In the Million (1,000,000) Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us, but when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists??

The history of white men enforcing racism to a whole 'nother level (slavery and labor) had left a big scar for them on US racism.

You forgot one white people who didn't vote for Obama are racist. But most black people vote for Obama just because he is black and didn't vote for McCain because he is white.

This is a good question, but will never be answered properly. There is racists in all colors and genders, the bad thing is the white people are so afraid of being classified as a racist. I really dont care what color people are, if i like you, I call you a friend, But if I hate you, I will make your life hell.

This of course would only apply to the US. That being said, you have to remember in the US, if you weren't white you were either a slave, or a criminal, or a slave. Even in our Constitution the terms "white male" is written all over it. The white race ruled the free world and even now, white THINK they are the majority. We still have some states that are so racist they will kill a black man if they see one.

Many of the comments written above were false. There are scholarships for only white people. There are "white only" colleges. If you knew anything about the way our government worked, you would know that for "black colleges" or "white colleges" to be legal, there can't be ANY government support at all. If it is privately owned, they CAN discriminate against any other race.

I know I am jumping around a lot here and it might not make sense, but racism is alive today everywhere in the world, whites are not the only ones that can be racist.

In England, we have a lot of Muslims. Where I live, the youth Muslims are racist as hell. My friend works night, and just down the road are a bunch of takeaway shops. One of them is where a lot of Muslims "hang out", and that is right next to the bus stop my friend goes to to get to work. Many times he stands there minding his own business, and once he got it from behind by a Muslim for no reason at all. The same happened to his brother DURING the DAY. Now I see that as racism, hitting a different colour person for no reason at all. Another thing is because British people come from Britain (obviously) we are called Brits. Yet Pakistanis come from Pakistan but we can't call them "Paki's" Why? That's the same as us being called Brits, or Polish people being called Poles. There is no difference in that what-so-ever, so why is it racist to call a Pakistani a Paki?

I agree with you so much where I live in North Jersey most of the "whites" aren't racist at all. It's the "blacks" who are holding on to the past and the ones being racist. I'm glad you brought this to light which many people probably know this by now. Only the dang rednecks in the south are racist nowadays.

It's because they are considered the minority. Unfortunately being racist to the majority isn't considered racist. It's all a load of bullshit, just because we used them as slaves.
