To be honest I don't like cops. There's very few cops that do their job to do the right thing and help people and not for the soul purpose of getting paid. Look at the Rodney King case, reading about that case comes close to bringing tears to my eyes. They beat the shit out of him after that already had him detained. I also want you to look at the video someone posted in another thread about the police officers beating up the 15 year old girl. Lastly I want you to see the video someone posted about the 13 year old kid skateboarding. The kid was leaving and doing what he was told, just because he made a face to the cop he decided to put him in the cop car. Not police brutality, but definitely a sign of a cop just being an asshole.

Yes, all of them broke the law but cops need to know how to handle these situations. The one with the 13 year old kid was just an example of the cop trying to meet his quota. I don't even think I need to explain the other videos to you.

Well, ive never had any problems with the law. Ofcorse i get a bit nervus when im out driving. But who dosent? And i feel safer when the cops are around. Dont think cops like in the vids apper in Norway tbh. Or atleast ive never meet one!

At one time my entire highschool was in the middle of a gang war, bloods vs. crips to be exact. They brought like 20 extra cops in and put them at every single corner of the building at all hours of the day. Didn't make me feel any safer whatsoever since last year the cops tased a kid at school.

I am glad we have cops as they keep us safe but some of them do more damage then help.

I like cops who do their job, and are not bias, like they will arrest someone because of their colour of something. It is a stressful job so you got to take that into account but when they beat someone for no reason or arrest someone for really no reason, then I am against them.

The 13 year old kid one was they should not have been skateboarding on private property, and then when the guy said leave and he was calling the cops and they did not, well I am glad they got in trouble for doing what they did, but if they had left right after the guy said something, then I would be pissed the the cop.

I don't dislike cops because this is such a broad statement, but the majority of cops that I have had to deal with seem to be pleasant good workers. Though, sometimes cops can be pathetic power-hungry a-holes and abuse their powers.

I can say, the police that dealt with my suspension in 2 years ago were very nice and understanding.

There's very few cops who are actually respectful and do their job correctly. A few years ago I was with like 3 friends and one of them was pulling on this piece of a fence until the fence broke. Someone called the cops and this kid ran before the cop even saw him and he blamed us for breaking the fence and said we made the other kid up.

Another time a friend of mine and I were sitting on a picnic table on school grounds that was already pretty destroyed, the benches were broken and we were sitting on the top part. A cop pulled up and asked us if we did it, we explained our story and she simply didn't believe us. A lady from the school came up and said the bench wasn't destroyed the day before, which wasn't true. It was already destroyed like a week before and the cop charged us with destruction of property and tried to make my mom pay for it. We didn't actually have to pay for it, but the cop believed the lady just because we were a couple of kids.

But these kind of incidents dont happen on a daily basis and i think they are blown way out of proportion.

I don't have a problem with cops yea I do get nerves around them but I know I didn't do anything so its good
