Dogs! They are more playfull and actually tell you when they want you to stop stroking there belly's unlike the cat it just scratches the sh*t out of your hand then runs away.

Dogs listen to what you say etc.

My favorite dog: German Shepherd.

I personally love both, but I've had cats since I was little so I'd have to lean more towards cats. Dogs are great companions as well, but some dogs can be assholes :p

Thats just As I feel , Never had a dog , would be nice to have one.

DOGS

I have a jack russel thats name Dixie. She chases birds and crap dogs dont even chase and she can jump about 4 feet high she is always hyper.

true...although i have seen cats gather with thier master if he/she was sad or crying.....dogs are just more fullfilling pets....youtube the japanesse loyal dog..i thought it was rather neat

I chose dogs even though i own a cat (used to be 2 :( )

Anyway, i love dogs, they show effection alot more than cats do, enjoy playtime, and actually stay active.
Cats do show effection, but not as much, all they want is feeding :P
Golden Retreivers, and husky's are my favourite Smile
