(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just a quick question to all Christians, and if I offend anyone I am sorry and I certainly don't mean to!

So we celebrate Easter as this time when Jesus "died for all of humanity's sins and especially original sin (Adam & Eve)."

It is widely accepted that the creation story involving Adam & Eve is just symbolic and most Christians don't believe in it.

So from what I can see, God came down in human form (Jesus), was sent by God to die and forgive humanity's sins and original sin. But if the story is symbolic that means that God sent himself down to be endlessly tortured for something symbolic!!!

It doesn't make sense!

Why doesn't God just simply forgive everyone's sins instead of sending himself down to die such a dramatic and terrible death? The whole idea of the new testament which everyone draws Christianity from is flawed for me.

Can anyone please shed some light on this for me because I just cannot see why anyone could believe in this. Please structure mature responses as well.

I do like all the chocolate though! Happy
