    Default GPA Question ?

Well since i decided to be a **** up in school and just fool around with my friends since the gecko, my GPA is officially lower than my K.D. My GPA is 1.22 and i am a Junior in High School.

This is where NGU comes in and helps, I want you guys to hack my school and change my grades... JK JK

I want to know whats the possible highest GPA that i can get by next year (senior year) and what type of grades i will need to get that GPA. I pass all my classes but with low grades. Trying to leave high school with a good GPA.

    thanks-Cris

Hate to say it, but you're ****ed bro. Go to community college for 2 years and learn some shit, then transfer to a state college.

If you were to take AP classes, and you get high grades in all of them you could get your GPA as high of a range of 1.9-3.0 (depending on how many classes you take, and how high grades you get). Your best bet is to do summer school and try to expunge the worst grades, then maybe do a year extra of high school, if that's an option.

The average high school GPA for those accepted into middle-level universities and state universities, such as the University of Washington (which is around 3.69) generally ranges from 3.4-3.8.

The average high school GPA for those accepted into high-level/ivy league universities like Harvard is 4.0-5.0.

To be honest if you improve greatly, you might be able to go to a community college, improve your grades, then try a low level state university.

If I were you I'd work really hard summer school, and take extra tutoring, and then work really hard during school (while taking extra tutoring) and get a job (either during summer, or after schools, or both) and try to do as much community service as possible, also, try to do some extra curricular work. Then you will probably be able to get into a Community College. Do well there, and you'll be off to a state university (as long as you get good work experience and community service, as well as great grades). Then you'll be able to get a decent career, in a field you want to work in.

Otherwise, you're going to get a low-paying, bad benefits "dead end" job.

    Alternatively, join the army.

You really have to think if its worth it. Now most people would agree that college and career is the way to go, but at the same time not everyone is the same. If you think maybe having a career and going to more school, and trying harder during school might not be the right path for you, that could be the case. You always have other options.

Here is a link to an actual GPA calculator. I doubt you will take APs so it wont matter that it only goes up to 4.0 because a 4.0 is a 100 or A in a course anyways. Just put 3 credit hours for all the main courses you take and the letter grade you got. You can put the number of classes you are going to be taking till the end of school (with an A grade) in with the grades from the first half of high school and see the highest maximum GPA you can get. To be honest i would just go to Community College its the S**t Jobs only see where you graduated from for your bachelors degree on an application. So they will never know where you did your first 2 years. Just bank good grades in college and transfer somewhere. plus it will save you thousands of dollars in the long run.

    Here is the Calculator:

To be more accurate just take each class you have taken and count the numbers. It explains on the website easier how to get your cumulative GPA
