Call the cops and report child abuse and also try to get a therapist for your friend it's hard to imagine what he's going through :'(

If you and him are good friends, you're going to want to talk to him about it, first simply to reveal the full extent of it, and secondly to get his honest point of view about what goes on.

One thing you will want to do for sure is go to the police about it obviously; however it can be difficult to do this, especially if you feel as though they are going to ignore you... Go with some form of proof/ evidence (your friend who gets abused by his father would be best). I'm not saying to take pictures etc. Just have the story straight, for the best of your friend.
