This topic came to mind as I saw a program on TV, 2 female police officers(UK) pretending to be prostitutes then subsequently arresting the "customers". Surely this is extremely unfair? Opinions, please

My opinion: it should be illegal. These prostitutes are ruining their lives, and they are most likely only doing it because their family and friends hate them.
About their customers being jailed: I agree with that. They paid for something which is illegal, so they are helping someone break the law.

Because their families hate them? Is that really what you think is going on? You don't know the circumstances that caused these people to be in the situation they're in, so don't be so ignorantly judgmental.

Agreed, however this debate is more a matter of whether it's morally right or wrong and whether it should be legalised or not

You can't think about things that way. By that logic I should be able to go out naked screaming random shit, after all, its MY choice I want to make a fool of myself. The world would be a nasty place if everyOne thought like that.

1. The action you described requires disturbing the peace, thus affecting everyone
2. Prostitution is not a complete action done in public
3. Prostitution affects no one else, but the two in the act
BTW That isn't atheism
