You can do as many crunches as you want but if you don't do any cardio you won't see any results. Cardio and good diet will burn that fat.

You should get one of them vibrating toners.
Put it on your stomach and let it send shocks and it tones your abs.

Works Perfectly for me.

Go for a run everyday. When I was in track last year we had to run 2 miles every day...

I never have done any crunches at all, I never work out my abs. The one tip I will give you is work out al over your body and when you put on lean muscle mass your body will loose calories at rest and will tone down your stomach so fast and you wont even realize. My uncle gave me those tips about 3 months ago and ive been working out and my stomach toned down so fast and around my body got tone down. I went from a 12% body fat percentage down to 6% and I feel and look great!

I didn't know this thread was "The Philosophy of Life"
He's asking a reasonable question on how to tone his abs then he's told how much a loser he is?
He didn't ask for that. He asked something completely different.

Seems to me you just want to have a flat stomach?...six pack even?..
You have to understand that, excercise and nutrition go hand in hand.
In order to lose the fat, energy expenditure must be greater than calories consumed.
In other words, you have to excercise more than what you eat.
Pretty sure you've heard of the saying: "What you eat, is how you look" .
If not,you have now.:p

Anyways,back to your dilemma...
Doing sit-ups or crunches will help you to eliminate that saggy/flabby skin around your abdominal area.
Now,in order for me to make any suggestions,it's important to know :

a) what kind of foods and how much you eat.

b) What other excercises(if any) you perform?

As this will give me a more accurate picture of your situation and will determine the outcome.
