This is a work of art constructed by yours truly for the purpose of discussion. Since it is such a meticulously created piece, I know that many of you will be tempted to praise me for my hard work and natural talent. I advise you to suppress these temptations, and instead discuss the meaning behind the piece, and apply the morals you learn to your own lives for general enrichment.

Next, I present you with an image of a skateboard I hand carved out of a bar of antimicrobial soap. If I remember correctly, the package also indicated that that the soap was infused with lavender. Although I have no evidence to support my case, any process that involves infusing two objects probably originated during WW2 by Nazi researchers. Anyways, I again would like you to analyze the piece and spark debates regarding the multitude of interpretations one can derive. Please limit yourselves because I know this thread will take quite a while to load if all of you pour out every thought you have.

*Note: If you look carefully, you may see flames exiting the rear of the bar of soap. Disregard these, for they were added in photoshop after the picture was taken, and are not actually part of the original image.

I look forward to reading your analyses in depth.

Sincerely, Sir.

And with me I have brought a wave of modern art.
I have single handedly started the NGU Renaissance.

Is this deep enough? I carved the bar of soap myself. Gaspkay:

Welcome back. I didn't know you left. :p

Read My Mind
Im getting the feeling that the skateboard is actually me, and the wheels represent the changes in my life, specifically the transition from love to loss I've been going through. The soap is representative of my sexual impotence and is a glaring reminder of my sexual abuse as a child. Good work Sir, tu as un bon artiste

Thanks and nominations for the artful use of infuse and lavender in the same sentence. Winky Winky

Did you notice that the wheels are intentionally not perfect circles? Although I posess the skill to hand carve circular wheels, I chose to leave them irregular so you could relate them to the irregular pattern of changes in your life.
Bravo, Cudder.

I believe the first image is extremely emotional. To me, it represents the many different moments that happen at the same time, that can cause havoc in your life. I love how you have infused so much variety into one picture to portray that various things may happen to you over the course of your life. It symbolizes the many troubles one may go through at any time in their life, but may be strengthened by them in the end, such as morphing into Godzilla.

The first image really pulls at my heartstrings. To me it represents the unimaginably emotional upbringing of an adolescent who is transitioning into manhood. To me the space ship and the astronaut represent the lonesome spiritual journey and realization about self reliance and awareness. Although the child is trying to make the best of this; he feels overwhelmed with the changes in his current point in life as if it is uncontrollable, represented by Godzilla. The fact that a beautiful sunset is occurring after all of this commotion tells me that the person has overcame the transition, and now is in a period of closure; a period of rest so to speak. One in which he can look back and reflect on his previous actions.
