Just accept the punishment. It's stupid to dig a deeper whole by fighting him. Hopefully you will learn a lesson too.

You probably shouldn't have ditched anyway take the punishment, but make sure the snitch knows you don't care anyway. I know its an old stand by saying but it really does piss people off when your nice to them after they rat you out.

What you should do is make a big rumor about him and spread it around the school and get your friends to do the same. This way you can't get in anymore trouble if your school staff doesn't know where the original rumor came from and it will humiliate him, thus you getting your revenge. The rumor could be something like, he is gay, and if a teacher asks why you said he was gay, you can say that gay means happy.
