- i most defiantly didn't see it coming and idk maybe that was at a time when i didnt watch much movies because now - a -days almost every movie seems like a cleshay.

No, I did not but if I am not mistaken that movie is supposed to be a remake of something similar made in the '80s.

idk maybe dr Jekyll mr Hyde , fight night idk.
fight night is the 90's(great movie one of my favs)
and im pretty sure mr hyde is like form the 40's or event he 1800 but i dont care to do the research. my main point is that they are similar, also dream house is similar.

Yea, well a few friends and I were discussing this last year and one of them brought up something how there was a movie very similar to Shutter that was made in the '80s, bit of a different layout on how things go and such but the idea of it is the same.

That's all I remember though...

That was a damn good movie and I definitely didn't see the end coming.
When you watch it a second time you notice there are some subtle hints.

Shutter Island was one of my favorite movies. The ending was really surprising.
