Hi,

So today I have basically been hired in an estate agents in sales. Since it is a competitive market and you get commission from the sales made, I was wondering if anyone had any tips or useful information that will help me become rememberable to customers, ice breakers, closing deals etc.. Anything that will make me become the best of the best!! Your replys are very much appreciated!!

Thanks

Always have a smile, joke around with customers a little bit. No one likes those dead serious agents.

$1,000 suits and $200 haircuts are sure to impress.

tl;dr try to get your name out there. Get yellow page ads, newspaper ads, radio ads, business cards, etc. Always be professional and connect with your clients. Make them feel #1 without being a pushover. Keep in touch with them, if you sell them a house call them a few times in the next few months to see how it's going and if they need any help in closing, moving, decorating, etc. Just see if they're happy. Happy clients will remember your name and hopefully refer you to someone if they ever ask about hiring an agent.

Always have cookies sitting at the house you try and sell.
Always tell them the pros before the cons on the house.
Be very knowledgeable of the house you try and sell. Know it inside out.
Dont be so tight and dont over think it, and dont joke around with a serious buyer. Also dont joke around about physical appearance, occupation, car, etc.,
