I use Bitdefender but I've had Norton Antivirus and AVG.
Personally, I rank them this way.

1. Bitdefender
2. AVG
3. Norton

Norton offers a lot of protection but in my opinion not to the extent of Bitdefender or AVG. Bitdefender has been more efficient than AVG in protecting my computer; AVG let in 1 virus, so it's not foolproof. I've never gotten a virus with Bitdefender though and it's pretty low on computer usage.

Well, if you want a free one, I'm pretty sure Microsoft Security Essentials is pretty good.

If you want something paid, get BitDefender or Kaspersky.

Personally, I prefer Microsoft Security Essentials because it gets the job done and it's free.

Between BitDefender and Kaspersky, get BitDefender.

BitDefender would be a nice AV, if your PC can take it. I'd rather go with something that isn't so much Overkill :p I use Avast!, but I also combine it with AVG and Windows Defender, which I shouldn't really do :p

What exactly do you mean? Do it compromise PC performance?

Yea, sometimes. But if your PC is relatively new, which I assume because it is Win7, it shouldn't be a problem Smile

It should be :

1_Bitdefender
2_ ESET
3_AVG

Bitdefender needs high specification.

ESET smart security do the job perfectly .

AVG is a free version so don't expect to be the best .
