i think you need cfw in order to copy protected saves.

you need cfw jb ps3 or ask some members that can help you whit it hear

not necessarily... you can find some silent hill threads on this forum, just search it. you can also download the saves off NGU then throw them on your usb stick. if its not the same region, you may need to edit the .SFO file in hex editor. if its the same region, simply transfer it to your USB, load up xploder, drag it to the gamesaves folder (left side), then drag it back your profile and it will automatically resign it to your profile. give it a try!
