As a zealot of British literature, I find very few works to be as timeless and riveting as Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I read it through it yearly (for entertainment, of course) mainly because Austen's satirical rendition of English society is so delicately crafted, and the character dialogue is as captivating as it is witty.
