(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I turn 21 next Feburary. My local and favorite gun store owners (former Marines, who became Cops and retired, extremely friendly people) essentially sold me on my first pistol purchase.

I'm getting my CCC permit here soon (I can take it underage with the store owners, as they are instructors, they offered me an extremely reduced price on the class, and they will hold my permit until I turn 21).

For my holster, I'm going to You must login or register to view this content. (as suggested by FPSRussia) for my holster, and I am going to also buy a Blackhawk! security (double lock) holster for non-concealed carry.

I'm getting the Bravoconcealment holster here very soon as it takes two months to get, due to them making them by hand. Every holster they sell, is made by hand here in America.

As for my pistol, I'm planning to get the Glock 17 Gen 4 (chambered in 9x19 because 9mm ammo is cheap). The one I was sold on was a two tone. The polymer was desert tan, and the slide was black. Comes with 3 mags standard (polymer mags) from the factory because it's a Gen 4 pistol.

So to add discussion value to this thread, gun owners of NGU, do you have guns? Do you shoot? Post some pictures of your guns, let's see them.

Also what are yout thoughts on the Glock 17 Gen 4? The holster I'm planning to get is fitted for a light. Recommendations on lights for the end of the Glock?

As for what I currently own, I have a Hi-Point 9mm Tactical Assault Rifle. I'm getting a Remingon 870 Tactical 12g Shotgun here very soon.

Few airsoft, one paintball, some BB, and some pellet rifles.

A glock is way to big to carry with you maybe in your car or for home protection. If you want self protection like on your preson get a .38 special snub nose or 1911 .22LR both really nice and small, light weight, and easy to concealed. BTW what state do you live in? Cause here in Arkansas you only gotta be 18 to have CCC.

See I disagree. I think a Glock is perfect. I got to handle the one I chose, and I had handled a few different models before I got the Glock.

I looked at a few 1911's (which I am getting, just not anytime soon), a few Springfield XD's which my buddy carries, and that paticular Glock just felt right.

See this is You must login or register to view this content. in my opinion. This is what I will carry the day I turn 21 unless something better comes out. My dad has carried that gun for about 4 years and it weighs like nothing loaded it still is very light. Always fully loaded with LE ammo not legal for citizens :shh:, but as long as you don't shoot it and you "collect" it, it is perfectly legal but it will tear straight through 80% of bullet proof vest.

My house and family for that matter have many, many, many guns along with a shit load of ammo because a gun is about useless w/o bullets but he carries that gun inside his jeans waist, always buys 1 inch too big so his gun fits perfectly keeps it very concealed and you can't even tell he carries.

I'm only 14 and own three guns myself, there is plenty of guns in my house, cars, etc. I have always been taught that you never pull a gun, show a gun or indicate you have a gun until you are ready to shoot, you never pull a gun for imitation, not that you should just pull and shoot if they want to back the fuck off thats great but you don't just pull a gun in a fight just to scare somebody because a lot of people will grab that bitch by the barrel and I have no joke seen a crazy mofo have a pussy pull a gun and he grabbed it and held it up to his forehead and yelled "Shoot me mutha fucker!" like 3-4 times then ripped it out of his hands and through it to his buddy and beat the shit out of him. Not a smart idea.

Any way thats my thought on guns.

Hey man it's up to you. But I would go either one cause they're small caliber and do more damage in close range. Lets hope both of us don't have to shoot it other than just target practice.

Something small and not noticeable. I'd go for the 38 mate. I had it for 5 years and it shoots just fine. If you want a glock, I'd say just get a Beretta.

Right. I checked out and shot some 1911's (which I love and I am planning to get one) as well as some Springfield XD's, and I even got to shoot a FNH Five Seven, but the Glock, I just love it. Especially that Glock 17. Fell in love with it instantly.

Amen to that brother.
