If anything weed should be legal and alcohol illegal but thats if one had to be illegal Smile

That is all.

But honestly, if cigarettes are legal then I think that weed should be too. Even though I don't smoke it and probably never will.

Weed I'm okay with. They should legalize and tax it. They could sure use that extra money.

Weed in some cases can be alot more dangerous in the longterm. There has been many cases of people becoming schizophrenic after smoking weed. Not in the short term, but the long term effects definately.

It is sort of disheartening to see that we can't trust people with drugs like this, and are forced to make it illegal (until recently apparently). You would think that people would be smart enough to make the right decisions when it comes to things like this, but unfortunately, there are a lot of really stupid people that abuse anything they can and think that what they're doing isn't affecting anyone else.

I'm really not sure whether marijuana should be legal or not, but if I had to give an answer I would say keep it illegal, just for the sole reason that you really can't trust everyone now-a-days, and sooner or later someone is going to use marijuana in the wrong place or at the wrong time. Then again, there are already a lot of people that do this drug while it's illegal, but I'm sure making it legal would only make it worse.

If all of that was unclear, let me just say this:
I don't think that this drug should be legal because there is no reason to allow a wider audience to potentially abuse it.

yeah you may be right but think about when alcohol was illegal..it made people want to drink it more and now, its still abused but think of how bad it would be if it was illegal and alcohol kills something like 80,000 people a yr and marijuana kills 0 people a year

Well, when alcohol became illegal, people had to adjust from a lifestyle where it was legal to a lifestyle where it is illegal. I could be wrong, but I think that is why they wanted to keep drinking alcohol, because they were already drinking it, and they didn't want to change.
I think I can see what you're trying to say, but I don't think it's relevant to the situation that marijuana is in, because people are making two different adjustments. If something that is already illegal becomes legal, you're only allowing more people to access it, and as I said earlier, I don't think allowing more people to access marijuana is necessary.

OP's post made no sense, however I have no problem with weed. If and when it ever gets legalized just expect to pay a fuck ton in taxes tears
