Im from the u.k, and all of the above is true, you can drink and smoke at 18, leave high school at 16 some due to a august birthday leave when they're 15, but when it comes to driving cars we have to wait til 17.
within the next few years the government will extend high school to 18.

You leave school and go to college at 16.
Once you complete college you go on to university. You can complete a degree at college if you wish too and other paths to take also.
You can drink at 18 in the UK ^^

I'm 15 and I'm in my final year of high school. Next year in September I'll be leaving to go to college (when I'm 16) for two years and I'll also get a part time job. When I'm 17 I'll be able to drive, and when I'm 18 I'll be able to buy drinks. After college I am able to attend University (if I'm smart enough). Hope this helps!

P.S. In the UK we call them "Years" not "Grades". I think Year 11 in the UK = 10th grade in the US. Year 10 = 9th grade etc. etc.

Our university is basically the same as a US college.

Primary School is around 4-10
High school 11-16

At sixteen you can stay in high school if you want, that's sixth form. If you don't stay in school you can go to college or get a job. The option of college is of course open to people who didn't do sixth form. After college comes university.
