Post: Do This One Good Deed - Send a Christmas Card To This Child With Terminal Cancer

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey, NextGenUpdate, been a minute.

Just a quick post but I came across this on another website and said I'd post it here on NGU for anybody else who wants to take part. Take this thread and the topic how you may, but as somebody who's had family be victims of cancer I do small things to help if I can and taking five minutes to buy a Christmas card and write some words on it and put it in a post box is definitely a small, doable thing.

The website I actually found this on raised enough money to buy him a nintendo u wii.

No matter where you're from, sending a card won't be very expensive and no matter what age you are (I know this site's full of young teenagers) you can still do it. If you want to you can personally make your own cards and explain the NGU community and how it supports him.

Hope some of you do go to the effort of doing this. Try and keep the thread bumped if it's being surpassed by the typical, unsightly threads within this section.

G'luck, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hmm would be more effective with sad music by Sarah Mclachlan and closeups up sick kids but I think I will do this. Thanks.

I'll show it to my Photoshop class in school and see what my teacher has to say. She'll probably end up making the class make cards and she'll have everyone print them and send it as a class set.

Saw something earlier about how a police department made Nathan an honorary officer. It's nice to see how amazing people can be to each other in times of need.

Good to see you around MBO, I hope you keep stopping in every now and then Winky Winky

I would, but I don't even have the money to buy my own family anything this year. This will be my second year in a row I haven't had Christmas.

However, I'm pretty close to a couple of my former high school teachers, and I can probably text a few of them or message them on Facebook, and I bet they will do something about it. Smile
