Post: Removal of 'vBookie.'

This thread is regarding the recent removal of vBookie. I think more things could have been done with vBookie instead of completely removing it.
I get that the vBookie section was dead but there was a few members for example AgentJon, Phiten that came on and betted on a majority of the events, I myself started getting into vBookie and betting again to bring it back to "life." I think that it doesn't have to be mainstream sports, throw some golf, tennis, hell even NHL is back...
I'm love sports and I'm sure a lot of other members here do too. I hardly play video games anymore, and if I do its Madden, NBA, or MLB. I'm not into Call Of Duty anymore, I don't want NGU being just gaming and general discussion, I would like to gamble on sporting events and talk about what I love, and I know others do too.
For the love of God (or whatever you believe in) bring vBookie back, and gather ideas that would make it alive again, the Accumulator, I haven't seen one of them since 2011, those got a lot of bets. Promote some of the active old vBookies AgentJon, Phiten, Alex, or even myself, I've caught up on my schooling. I'm just "saddened" that there is no longer a sports area anymore, vBookies gone, Sports discussions gone.

Join the club, the GFX section just got nuked over and over. Now its a teeny tiny sub section. I personally dont like where ngu has gone, but at the end of the day i appreciate that they have to do what is best for the site as a whole, and clearly vbookie wasnt working.

Yea so would i, but like i said. Vbookie wasnt working, neither was sotw. They tried stuff with sotw, but it didnt work. I think its just gonna have to be one of those things. As i previously said, i dont like how the sites gone, focusing on gaming news and gaming in general, but it seems to work on attracting people to the site. Im just glad I had my time at the peak of the gfx section, guess im over it now. It wouldn't surprise me if one day there isn't a forum, or its just a minor part of the site.

That is going to be hard to do. Outie is hard pressed on removing vBux too or attempting to fix them first. In the end I agree with what he decides because so far he's ran ngu extremely well.
