I hate TTG so much. Leaving the site was the best decision I ever made, 1st thing i'm going to point out is their chat box. The thing is so empty that whenever someone types in a message it says "new" the only person who basically is in there is some kid named Sean who is an admin of the site or some rubbish, his status is always "away" so good luck getting a reply. Their shout box is hidden away in the "Extra Links" section which you have to dig through to find.
NGUs shout box is booming every time I visit the site. It's full of hilarious people and mods are always active to help members. Every time I visit the shout box.
The next thing I need to rant about is the paid membership on TTG: Ok, so basically it is called Gold membership and it costs $6 per month. Here is what you get: One name change per subscription, a signature, coloured name, and gold member forums: here is what is located in the gold member forums You must login or register to view this content.
So basically you get a general discussion that is inactive as hell, and a buy/sell/trade which is stupid because anyone should be able to trade no matter their membership as long they are trusted.
Ok, now to Elite for NGU, it's amazing, except for the xploder that comes 4 months later
But the value is great it's full of great content, elite services, accounts for netflix, *******s, if anything i've gotten the better deal than ngu on elite.I could go on all day but yeah just a quick rant.

I signed up once but like you said.. it's dead. It fails in comparison to NGU for activity and I don't even think I bothered to post anything and have never returned since. Same goes for hack forums, they're just rubbish.

Glad we are the 'better' forum. I myself haven't been on TTG before and I never plan to.

I understand I signed up on TTG first since I had friends talking about it all the time but I have a PS3 so TTG wasnt a good place to call home for me. So later I found this site and seen it was more PS3 based I have became active on here alot since the last 9 months I fee this is where I will stay and glad you enjoy NGU.
