GRAN TURISMO 5 TO BE RECALLED WORLDWIDE.
Unfortunate errors in the game's design forces Polyphony Digital to recall all copies sold in the US, Europe and Japan.

London, England December 13, 2010 - After five long years in development, we're very sad to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital need every copy of the game back.
The problems outlined below cannot simply be patched: Polyphony insists that they're so fatal, every disk needs to be reprinted. Sony has decided to honour their wishes.
The problems are as follows...

- The default tyre pressure on the 2008 BMW 123i (below) is 92PSI, rather than the more accurate 98PSI
- Interior dashboard textures for the Volkswagen camper van are the wrong shade of beige
- The Toyota Prius is so realistic, the in-game model suffered a brake failure problem shared by the real-life car.

Collectors will be visiting all owners of Gran Turismo 5, and their discs will be confiscated and burned on a large fire.
They will then be added to a three month waiting list for Gran Turismo 5 V1.1

Ok, I never usually care about a source, but for this I want one. That just seems too stupid. I don't understand how a patch can't fix it. Sure, there should be pride in games, but for wrong shades of colour, wrong tyre pressure and brake failure seems too far.

The whole point is that it's a joke.
In the title it says [FUNNY] sorry if I should have been clearer.

Oh, I thought that you put funny cos it's a funny real story, like I thought it was. I don't get the point in it now though. I feel stupid.
