I'd have to go with San Andreas because it had my favorite protagonist, it had my favorite weapons, it had my favorite vehicles, CUSTOMIZATION, i liked the story, you felt accomplished at the end, fun side quests, and of course NOSTALGIA.

San Andreas there was so much to do like eat work out the hover pack man good times lol

mh, i love Vice City and San Andreas, its a hard decession. I take GTA San Andreas^^ The World was very big, Music was great, everything was a little bit better as VC

GTA San Andreas without a doubt, spent most of my time in the gym until i realised there was a cheat to increase his muscles if only it had the graphics of GTA IV

San Andreas for the amount of things you can do, and the different areas you can visit, e.g. forests, desert, mountains, city's. But I also love Vice City for the 80's atmosphere an music :dance:

San Andreas .... it has the greatest map and the most options to play.

My fav old GTA is SA and you already know GTA4 FTW:carling:

Even though I adored GTA San Andreas, loved GTA 4 playing and finishing it three times. I never actually beat GTA Vice City so that will actually be the worst of the four, but my favourite is GTA III, due to the fact it had a fantastic array of colourful characters and was the first Grand Theft Auto I actually played. When it's released on the ps3, I will probably play it back-to-back and even though I'm a trophy whore and I don't say this often but I have literally no care what the trophies are, as long as I get to play GTA III again.

I have to say its very very close between Vice city and San Andreas. Vice city because it was my favourite game and i never stooped playing it and i have great memories of playing it with my dad and good old tommy vercita was amazing in it. San andreas because the amount of customization you could do like bmx and fly a jet plus play co-op which i loved but my favorite has to go to- Vice City =)
