I've been playing around for ages today trying to see exactly how patch 1.06 protect the common.rpf
To me it seems it cannot be touched, not a single byte changed added or removed.

Like they create a signature or hash of it, and if the shoe dont fit. Endless loop

You should release a tutorial. I've been trying to mod GTA IV for awhile now, but anything I do it always ends up in and Endless loop...

One question I have, I backed up EFLC with multiMan but what the hell do I do after that?! What do I patch it with to make it run?

Agreed, Im trying for like 16hours, editing the disc's .img file
Editing the patch.img, all sorts of stuff,
the best I have is JDM Alex's mods, then normal(modless) online working simultaneously.

Im about to start playing around with the X-box mods see if they are compatible
