I didn't know which one looked better because I don't think the blue color scheme was fitting the signature too well, but I think the color does give it some sort of flavor...Anyways, CnC and rate =D

effects in the background are very nice, however the foreground looks kinda plain. The text is well done, but the random blocks of colour take away from depth and blending in the sig. also a lack of real lighting,

Ya I noticed that I forgot to add my light source. Oh well, I figured that the bottom part of the sig was bright enough to make up for it

Theres alot of issues with this tag, I hope I dont sound like a complete douche in this post

* Tag is lq, try to make your sigs look cleaner. This can be achieved by using less resources, but in a more thoughtful and visually pleasing manner.
* Blending. The wolverine render looks like its just pasted on top of a background, try to make it interact with the environment of the tag.
* The Render is centered, try not to do this in the future. It can work with some tags, but in the majority of them it doesnt look good. Use the rule of thirds.
* Pixel Effect. I would just drop this effect completely, both with the left side and by the text.
*Text. I would drop the text, or at the very least reposition it.

I appreciate your CnC, but this part doesn't apply to my sig. If you noticed, in the background of the render, you can see smudging around his right arm and torso. Even on his lower part of the body, you can clearly see that it's blended pretty decent. The only part that may apply to that comment is his head, I did not smudge that because then it would look weird and distract the focal point.
