Good job but I think you could do better for the smaller planet...you should add more light effect around. Just a suggestion Winky Winky

It's still a work in progress :p just needed some more idea's.

The overall piece isn't bad, however the depth isn't the best. I love the lighting on both planets but it doesn't look like the colliding smaller planet is traveling. It looks like it's just stuck there. I see that you tried to create the "wind" effect behind it, but spend a little more time and try to get it to look like it's traveling at speed.

Take this tip. Get a stock render of a cracked road. Take it on to your canvas and change the blending mode until it looks ok. Use a soft brush to take away what is not needed and change the hue and saturation until it matches the orange/red colour of the blast. :y:

its a little generic
umm the lenses flare really isn't need
get rid of the second planet
and looks like its going waaaay to fast

Oh man this is old school i havnt seen anyone do planets in years, the lighing could be blended better, the lens flare is out of place, colors are good but could be more divirse shades, the second planet just makes it odd and throws it off i suggest just stick to one planet getting hit.
