Looks good but looks a little LQ? Especially the F.
I think you should add a white circle clipping mask with the opacity down. So it'll be something like this:

That would make it look more.. chrome like? It would make it nicer anyway. I think the Bevel is a tad heavy, also add a stroke to finish it up

I was going to, but I put a soft brush at the top instead. And then I put a box clipping mask at the bottom.
For most things, I do what you said. But I felt like it wouldn't look right on this.
