(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So like a lot of user's on here i'm sure if you frequent forums such as NGU or any other forum or any other site's in general. You may have been bombarded with adds or find them intrusive or a nuisance. For example a lot of forums have what's known as "sidebar content" or "featured add's"

With extensions for web browsers such as chrome, Firefox, opera, safari, explorer, edge ect ect... you can install these add on's for a variety of uses.
Some plugins allow for user's to create or use preexisting style's and theme's such as "Stylish" Tamper monkey, allow's for the ability to install user scripts for a site of your choosing to change or modify a site's structure or elements/functions on a webpage.

Now moving on to the extension known as "Page Eraser" with this extension you can remove unwanted element's on a site of your choosing. For example maybe some pesky adds, unwanted content, or some other bothersome element's you may find to be a nuisance.

With Page Eraser you can:

Easily erase unwanted elements from web pages.
Page Eraser is a Chrome extension that lets you erase elements on a page. Use it to remove sidebars, distracting content and even Flash banner ads, all while maintaining the layout of the page.

Simply click the button (or press Ctrl+Shift+E) to enable it, and click the element you want to erase. If you want to get the content back just refresh the browser.

Page Eraser can even be configured to NOT maintain layout, allowing the page to reorganize itself when elements are erased.

Link to extension (For Chrome user's only): You must login or register to view this content.

Hope this may be of some help to all who wish to remove unwanted content or some other pesky content.
