An Indian researcher has created not only the most advanced malware for iOS devices, but also the most dangerous. The malware is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod on iOS5. This specific strain of malware can get basically any information from your device. It can intercept your phone calls, read your texts, steal all of your data, and the scariest part, it can show all the actions of a victim. No longer can you watch porn on your iDevice in peace, what kind of world are we living in? This malware can be deployed over the web. Now, Apples devices are actually very secure and that's exactly why this only works on jailbroken devices, the sad thing is 90% of devices are jailbroken. I hope this doesn't become a thing that is released for anyone to use and abuse.

Only "jailbroken" devices and the iDevice with the A5 chip have not been jailbroken for now except the iPad 2 in iOS 4.3.3.

If you read around alittle its just a proof of concept paper... nothing has been made YET.. plus android devices have a good amount of malware for them.. but I never heard of many people actually getting the malware.. plus jailbreak developers could easily patch it through a tweak like how they patched Comex's pdf exploit for Jailbreakme.com.. And for those who dont have a jailbroken device apple would find a way to patch it.. Cause Apple's security team for iOS nd Lion/Snow Leopard is top notch due to the fact theres only been 1 virus for iOS ever and that was only on Jailbroken Devices.. And there was/is only a Handfull of viruses for Macintosh Computers...

 "90% of idevices are jailbroken" Bullshit. Also I was worried there for a second until you said it will only work on jailbroken idevices. Also there is actually a Convention for assholes like him that just create Malware? Why doesn't the government shut that shit down?

Apple don't going to fix this like the thread say "this is only for jailbroken devices" so Apple already have it patched because you can't install this in a retail iDevice, you jailbreak at your own risk if you get this malware is your fault. Apple don't going to help the jailbroken cummunity doing this because this will only do more people wanting to jailbreak, with this unpatched the people get scare so they go to retail iOS again.

From my understanding this actually works on any idevice that can be jailbroken.. which is every device but ipad 2 and iP4S.. and that would explain the 90% he came up with.. I was under that assumption when i wrote that.. but either way.. Im not worried.. :p
