(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); iWork Suite, Apple's version of Microsoft Office, has been released to work with iPhone and iPod Touch.

iWork Suite, also available for Mac and iPad, is now fully compatible with the smaller devices. All three apps; Pages, Numbers and Keynotes; have been released as of today.

iWork is Apple's take on the productivity market, enhancing user experience and eye candy as much as possible to create a more user-centric feel. The suite, which premiered on Mac back in '05, made its way onto iPad last year after being fully redesigned to take full advantage of the touchscreen, multitouch and portability.

“Now you can use Keynote, Pages and Numbers on iPhone and iPod touch to create amazing presentations, documents and spreadsheets right in the palm of your hand,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “The incredible Retina display, revolutionary Multi-Touch interface and our powerful software make it easy to create, edit, organize and share all of your documents from iPhone 4 or iPod touch.”

People who have already purchased the iPad version will get the iPhone and iPod versions for free, otherwise they cost $9.99 each, or $29.97 for the full set. It is still unknown how the suite will perform on the smaller screen of the iPhone and iPod however if it is as successful as iMovie was, tben these are some apps to put on any office workers' wishlist.

As Apple explained in the press conference, iPhone users will be able to export the files created by iWork directly into Microsoft Office, for Windows users, and iWork for Mac. They can also take full advantage of the Airprint feature, printing diretly from the iDevice to selected printers.

Keynote, Pages and Numbers import and export documents from iWork for Mac and Microsoft Office; print wirelessly using AirPrint™; and include beautiful Apple-designed themes and templates. All iWork apps now include improved document management with thumbnail images that let you find your files quickly, organize them and group them into folders using intuitive gestures. From the Tools button in the toolbar, you can easily share any presentation, document or spreadsheet without leaving the app.

Apple has been trying to re-release all it's existing software on both Mac OSX and iOS. Last year Apple released Facetime, their take on the video-calling world, for both iOS and Mac OSX, and Photo Booth, an application available for Mac OS since '06 made its way onto iPad earlier in the year.

If you want to get iWork, head over to the iTunes App Store and download Pages, Numbers and Keynotes now for $9.99 each.
