Took my sim card out put into brothers phone.. 3 bars.

The old version of the iPhone 4 have that problem maybe that's the problem and if the iPhone is from AT&T it will have that because I have see like 2 iPhone 4s updated version in AT&T.

Mainly because your hands are wrapped around the signal strip - to solve this, call apple or if you got this as a contract, call your contract & tell them your not getting no signal at the place you are living
