What about sign out and the iPhone and deleting the app? I think that should work if not just restore the iPhone and get the £50 because he never say something about the data. :p

Go Settings> Location Services> Find My iPhone > OFF

turn off location. done.

disable the location lol, its in the setting menu

Fairly simple, first, sign-out of the application and then hold the application and delete it. Then, just go to settings -> general -> location -> find my iPhone and turn it off or just turn location services off.
