after my iphone started to reboot every 2 minutes randomly, i decides to restore and update it.
i downloaded the 7.0.4 ipsw through itunes and hit the update button..
when i was mid updating i got error 29:
You must login or register to view this content.
i rebooted it to retry, and it got in recovery mode so i restored and updated the phone.
now it keeps giving error 29, and is in a recovery loop
i read something about a battery change, i still have original battery do i have to replace it??
thanks in advance!!!

It wont, as my phone fails to update mid updating, even if i kick it out of recovery mode it boots back to recovery mode as i cant install any firmware as it fails at 60%

my m8 just had this problem but it was with an iphone 3gs and on 6.1.3 and he said that he fixed it using redsn0w and a guide on youtube

but i wanted to ask you where you are from and did you get the right firmware for your device?

also check your host file in c:/windows/system32/Drivers/etc open in notepad
all that should be in there is this
    # Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost

and turn off all firewalls when doing this.

another way to try is to leave on charge all day and try then
also i heard that replacing the battery may help.

Same thing happened to me, download TinyUmbrella and connect your iPhone, once connected press exit recovery in tinyumbrella. After that enable the TSS server and then update or restore your iphone.
