Go to your hosts file and delete it (on your computer) and then restore again (i'd recommend to backup your host file to your desktop then once its done restoring just put it right back (its not harmful if you delete it) I had to delete my hosts file before so my iphone could restore :p

Maybe you're in the Recovery Mode and not in the DFU Mode!

DFU = Device Firmware Update

Requiers:

- Internet Connection ( PC )
- iPhone Connected with a cable on the PC

HowTo:

1. Press the Home Button and the Power Button at the Same Time
2. After 10 Seconds you release the Power Button! but you still hold the Home Button
3. After 12 Seconds iTunes says that it found a Phone in Recovery Mode ( Lie Happy because the screen is black )

Then you can restore it.

## READ THE END ( Takes sometimes more trys ) ## Winky Winky

To put the iPhone into DFU mode so you can do an iTunes firmware restore follow these steps:

Step One
Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac.

Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.

Step Three
After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

The iPhone screen will remain black like this:

NOTE***: It may take a few attempts to get your iPhone into DFU mode. Generally, I hold down both buttons then release the Home button just before I think the Apple logo would appear. If you are still holding both buttons down and you see the Apple logo you are holding them down for too long!
