(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I've had a look around on Google, apple forums etc... but can't get it to work Sal

Basically I'm trying to update my OS from 9.3.4 to 10.2 using iTunes so I can jailbreak it - but everytime I either get a 3194 error, or a 'device not found' error...

I've tried:

  • Different cable
  • Different USB port
  • Adding apple ip to hosts file
  • Updating iTunes (latest version)
  • A different PC
  • DFU mode
  • Restore mode
  • Disabling AV
  • Disabling Firewall

Anyone offer any other suggestions?

Thanksss

EDIT: iPhone 6s 64GB - Never before been jailbroken.

Apple doesnt sign ios 10.2 anymore

You have to install 10.2.1 or 10.3 Sal

Thought that only applied to downgrading? Sal

You Know if the method using TinyUmbrella still works? (doubt it but worth asking).

Pretty sure it applies to both downgrading and upgrading

You wouldnt be able to use tinyumbrella as you dont have shsh blobs of your device on 10.2

Damn was too late updating :/

Nah there used to be a feature a while ago for mimicking Apple server verification - I'll give it a shot later Smile

Unlucky :( I was fortunate to get a new 5s a few months ago that was shipped on 10.2 Smile

Ah i've never heard of that, would be pretty awesome if it is possible to do nowadays , but i highly doubt because apple is apple Sal
