2. Can I do this myself? (I am not a professionial, but no idiot either)
3. And most importantly - HOW do I do so, if possible? Is there a guide or something I can follow to move the plastic?

Didn't know where to put this, as I wanted to contact you, but couldn't send a private message because I had to be more active or something something . You seem to be very knowledgeable about PS3's based on how you respond to people and therefore I decided to ask you
The PS3 makes weird noises, and then sounds as if it's trying to eject the disc, but doesn't succeed. To tilt the PS3 works almost every time though. I've searched and googled a lot now, but most posts say "use your warranty" (on 3rd year now, bought the PS3 slim 250 GB Feb 2010) aswell as "buy a new laser lens".
Over a year ago you posted this (link: http://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/...ise-error.html) and I got some questions regarding this topic, as this issue has affected me and my brother for some time now.

It should be noted that there are only 30 days in September mate...I know you're a busy man so that we'll let that one slide...lol
