I want to create a save in creation mode then use then switch back to survival and use that save for the trophies myself. Is there anyway I can edit this and take the trophy lock off my save?

Yes use BruteForce Save Data.

Just create a world in Create Mode then save and copy the save and edit it with BruteForce and then when you load it up again load into survival and it will say that it was made in creation mode blah blah blah just ignore it and continue and it will allow trophies to pop.

I assume you are referring to PS3 version as your asking about trophies.
