NGU Community Mod

So recently I have gotten into modding Minecraft, and I would say that I am fairly experienced in it now, so I have come up with this as the best way to utilise this. My idea is that we all chip in ideas for what we would like to see in Minecraft, and me and more coders (if there are any) would help to make those ideas become reality.

If you are a Minecraft modding genius, or if you are just starting out then please contact me either via this thread or by PM and I will be happy to have you on the team. All of these mods are made with ModLoader so make sure you are using that!

Minecraft Players

If you love Minecraft but really think that they should add something to the game, post your ideas below and I will try my best to make the mods for those ideas. You will be given credit for submitting an idea plus I will send you your mod separate so you can play Minecraft with your mod!

Added Mods

A randomly generated ore Carbon is found deep down. It is not as rare as diamond.

Which can be used as a fuel in the Furnace. It is a lot stronger than a Lava Bucket, and fuels 512 things to be smelted!

Also, you can surround a Raw Fish in Carbon Dust to create a pack of [s]64[/s] 32 Cod Liver Oil, which heals 2 hearts =D

Design as in like graphics for the game I am guessing? That would be cool, I usually just alter what is already there but a whole new look would be nice for a change

I would possibly be interested in designing some texture packs for minecraft seeing as I do a fair amount of gfx. I've been meaning to do some for a while and haven't really got round to it, and I don't know how to do them (ie what to edit and then how to use it and package it for release etc.)

I'd also love to get into modding mine craft, if anyone fancies giving me a tut or two on how to do some modding, I'm usually a quick learner and I'd like to think I've had some experience in modding before. I just don't much fancy searching around the web for specific like I always seem to do when someone who already is experienced could show me.

Texture packs are fairly simple,I could point you to what to edit each block to look like although you probs wouldn't like the 16x16 pixels size :p

Modding I could also help you with, but I am still learning as well so may be a bit slow :p
