In the gaming community many acclaim popular Konami game developer Hideo Kojima, the master mind behind the Metal Gear Solid series, to be one of the most iconic developers out there. Everything Kojima does truly lives up to his persona and his latest project does not fall short.

In his Pre E3 interview with IGN he revealed many great things that are to be coming soon from Konami, but the thing that has sparked my interest the most is his new Fox Gaming Engine. Kojima seemed a bit reluctant to give the sneak peak in his interview, but he soon showed a small glimpse of the engine. He has detailed that a new game is in development, but he wouldn't say much about it. All we know is that this new project will be utilizing the Fox Engine.

In the interview the game engine is shown running in real-time on an XBOX 360. From what is shown, the game looked very smooth and realistic. He stated that the content shown was really only objects placed in the engine so that the development team could experiment and research how to better use and improve the Fox Engine.

Development of the game engine was started soon after the completion of Metal Gear Solid 4: Sons of the Patriots and was continued along side the creation of MGS: Peace Walker. The Fox Engine is being developed to work across all major gaming platforms including PC, PS3, XBOX 360, and possibly some mobile devices. Kojima stated that the engine will provide an extensive development suite for Konami developers and help significantly shorten production times.

Kojima also stated:

Personally I have no doubt that, with a developer such as Hideo Kojima heading the development, this game engine will be a revolution in gaming development.

Are you serious?

I remember my uncle had this for Playstation, and I spent hours playing it. Honestly, the best game I ever played, and it was about 3 years out of date when I was playing it Happy

I think Pro Evolution looks beast man. I'm not a fan of soccer games but Pro Evolution looks like it will be an amazing game.

the biggest thing that lets down pro evo soccer is lisences. Fifa can use every players name and 9/10 stadiums. Whereas on pro evo , they give people stupid names . e.g Ronaldo would be something stupid like Donaldo lol . As soon as they get full lisences , the game will be worth buying :y:
