lol Kaos Studios was never given a chance on Homefront. THQ is a bum-ass, broken down publisher nearing bankruptcy. If they are not going to properly finance developers, then they are not gonna make a decent game. I'm not saying that highly financed games come out MAGNIFICENT but if a developer is under-financed and is pressured into making a game comparable to COD and Battlefield... it can only have negative outcomes. I'm not really looking forward to Homefront 2, unless they change the publishers.

I'm not sure if you read it or not, but Crytek has a big role in Homefront 2.

Yeah I did read it ... What difference does it make that Crytek is developing the game? Yeah they developed Crysis and Far Cry but it doesn't change the fact that if you are under-financed by your publisher you can't possibly make a game that you want to make.

... Crytek is very successful, they're definitely not under-financed.
If you've played Crysis 2, you'll see the power it holds, and the graphics + preciseness they've put into it, definitely not cheep.

I'm not sure you are getting my message lol... I know Crytek is an amazing DEVELOPER, making very successful franchises financed by their PUBLISHER EA. But if their PUBLISHER for Homefront 2, THQ, cannot finance them properly then there might be some difficulties along the road when trying to create a new game from scratch on the CryEngine 3. I don't doubt Crytek's ability to make a good game, I just doubt the publisher THQ.

I believe the difference that Crytek 2 is gonna make in the game is what it lacked in the first edition.... GRAPHICS. Homefront had HORRIBLE graphics. I for one loved the gameplay and the story line, although short, it was still good. But polygonal trees made me actually dislike this game very much...

I will give this game a chance. If it sucks, then I never buy another Homefront again simple.

Despite the shortness of Homefront, I really enjoyed it.
The graphics weren't too bad, and the storyline was flat out badass.
