Iwata started off by talking about MiiVerse, which is basically like a forum for each individual game on the Wii U. He was talking about the art some people put up and the overall functionality it has with people and the games itself. A new feature is

- On MiiVerse when you see a post from someone with a green tick on the top left hand corner of their picture that they're a Dev from the game you are currently playing. This is a good interaction between developers and the community and also keeps you up to date with patches, DLC, etc.

Another announcement was the 2 new updates, 1 in Spring and 1 in Summer. This addressed the speed of the Wii U ie. Getting back to the main menu.

The Virtual Console will be coming to the Wii U right after the spring update. Offering NES and SNES games, Which range from 5.99 - 7.99

Unless you have owned these games before then they have a reduced price of 1.00 - 1.50
Each Virtual Console game will get its own MiiVerse.

Iwata stated that Nintendo will not have any 1st party titles in January or February. However announced that a numerous amount of games were in the works. Such as

-Super Smash Bros Brawl for Wii U and 3DS
-Mario Kart Wii U
-A new 3D Mario adventure on the Wii U
- A new Legend of Zelda Wii U
- Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD remake that will be available in Fall

He also commented on games that will be released in the next few months like, Pikmin 3, Wii Fit U and The Wonderful 101

Another Game that was also included in the Updates was Bayonetta 2



Another game that looks absolutely incredible from Platinum games.. Monolith



These games will all be playable at E3. Which looks to be a good Year for Nintendo.

Its the Famicom's 30th year anniversary this year (NES in NA and EU)
So Nintendo have 1 retro game a month to give to you each game is 30c to buy and you can buy your first game 'Balloon Fight' straight away from the Nintendo eShop. This will carry on through June, here is the list of games you will get each month

- Balloon Fight (JAN)
- F-Zero (FEB)
- Punch Out! Feat. Mr.Dream (MAR)
-Kirby's Adventure (APR)
- Super Metroid (MAY)
- Yoshi ( JUN)
- Donkey Kong (JUL)

All this and more was announced at Nintendo Direct, I thought this was an awesome Line-up and I cannot wait for E3 2012

Wind Waker HD looks amazing (I've never played WW, so now I get to play it for the first time, AND in HD ). Also, Nintendo's E3 this year is going to be freaking amazing. Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and so much more...

I played first one on GC it was good . Yep cannot wait for E3 Gonna be freaking awesome!
