After being rumoured for a while, I can now confirm that Mass Effect will be coming to the PS3 after all. EA made this announcement at Gamescom 2010, the only bad news is that PS3 owners will have to wait awhile until it is released.
EA released an announcement trailer to go with the news, it confirmed that Mass Effect will be released sometime in January 2011.
At the moment there is no news whether the first Mass Effect will be coming to the PS3 with the second title. It most likely will do though so PlayStation owners will be able to understand the storyline better.
What are your thoughts on this? Did you really expect them to release it? What does this mean for Microsoft? With Mass Effect coming to the PS3 could other Xbox exclusives follow?

Yes, but compare how many are exclusives, Not a lot are out, game makers thought and are making more money off puting games on both consoles :black:

I have to remind you, the franchises are SONY owned, exclusives are basically the REASON to get a PS3. Meanwhile the Xbox barely has any exclusives, which puts them at a advantage.
Also, the games are too hardware intensive for the Xbox, which would possibily downgrade the PS3 version (remember FF13)?
