wat Don't use that build. A10 6800k is just a no when you're in this price point. Will make one for you now.

I just had a custom pc built last night for $1600....and I'm pretty sure parts are more expensive where I'm at. You're built looks good, but check out what you can get for your money!

Intel Core i7 4790k, Nvidia 780ti 3GB graphics, 16GB kingston hyperx ram (2400mhz), 2TB WD HDD (black is the fastest), Samsung DVD R/RW, Windows 7 home premium, CoolerMaster 500w case, and Gigabyte Z97 motherboard

I built it according to the specs of the alienware x51 (but even better). I was going to put the GTX 970 in there but the 780ti is actually much better...

Hopefully this can help you make your decision. But to answer your question YES, you can easily build a really nice pc for $1500

Good luck!

I would've recommended the GTX 970, but currently there are issues with RAM allocation. Currently in the wait for a fix.

Well the 970 from what i seen on the internet can only use 3.5 gbs which is good enough so getting the 980 is a no no a waste of the extra around 200$.

Its a bug where 3.5gb is faster then the rest. And its just nvidia being nvidia they gimp cards and release the full card a few months later. Theres a reason i like amd cards better

I would highly recommend staying away from AMD considering they are not as stable as INTEL when it comes to games. No offense to AMD users.
