I'd say it can probably run Minecraft, yeah. It doesn't take much to run Minecraft now, it's all about the CPU you get due to Minecraft not being optimised to use your graphics card (because Notch was a bad programmer).

As for Dayz I'm not sure. It's probably not going to require much but it will probably require some sort of video card at least. Check the Dayz system requirements.

tbh you could build a way better pc for that much money
heres a good setup starter
cpu - AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor (dayz is cpu heavy so a better cpu)
gpu - Asus Radeon R7 260X 2GB DirectCU II Video Card
tbh base everything around these 2 parts

dont even waste your time with a 260x his budget can get a 270x

ummm my mums laptop is i3 my desktop is i5 and i can bearly run dayz but i run minecraft at 60fps
