However I need advice on what to purchase or buy part's to build one of my own. My budget is 1,000 Dollars (could be more depending), So yeah any help would be appreciated, thank you.

if your not a overclocker just get a cheaper i5 and mobo, that gtx 970 is the best bang for your buck,get a good psu and 8gb ram.

You will be disappointed if you want to get a desktop performance out of laptop
If you buy i7 with high end graphics card laptop it won't have enough battery
Laptops are for lighter usage mostly browsing etc.

I would go for something like Mac air type of laptop though i hate IOS

hey man if you have a budget of 1000 it will be hard to get a laptop to run games these days but if u go for desktop you can build an amazing rig for just 700 and way better for more

Dunno about a laptop, but heres some of my favorite brands

ACER,APPLE,ALIENWARE,RAZER and DELL

They all did good.
